About your Speech Pathologist

Dana Stewart, MA, CCC-SLP

Dana Stewart, MA, CCC-SLP, owner of Stuttering and Speech Therapy Services, LLC is thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with you and your family. With a passion for working with people who stutter, she started Stuttering and Speech Therapy Services, LLC in April 2017. She previously worked at a local pediatric outpatient hospital where she led the development of programs focusing on services for children, teens and adults who stutter. She has also worked within Indiana’s early intervention system, First Steps, for many years. With more than 20 years of experience, Dana specializes in working with children, teens, and adults who stutter.

Additionally, Dana has extensive experience working with children and teens with receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, social language disorders, and apraxia. Dana takes a calm, client-focused approach to guiding an individual on his journey of communication competence. 

Dana received her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in both Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology. She holds her certification through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.

Dana has been a resident of Indianapolis for more than 20 years. She grew up in Northwest Indiana where her mother was also a speech therapist! Dana lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son. Dana enjoys casual running, concerts, downhill skiing, biking, reading, spending time with friends and traveling. She mostly enjoys participating in and watching her son have fun and grow in his activities.
